CHAMPIONS LEAGUE VICTORY PARADE, 2012 AND CENTENARY DINNER, 2005

LONDON, UK

Two of Chelsea Football Club’s biggest celebrations feature here. The Royal Opera House, close to where the club was originally founded, played host to Chelsea’s Centenary Dinner in 2005 and in 2012 the streets of west London were filled with over 300,000 fans to celebrate Chelsea’s first ever Champions League victory. The project required close consultation with the Metropolitan Police and stakeholders from three different London boroughs, as well as needing over 1,000 event staff and over 100 road closures. A tightly coiled operation took the players straight from their hotel in Munich and onto the parade bus.
